Why jurisdiction matters

Every messenger answers to the laws of the country it is run from. Ours is Finland.
The servers are in Finland
Not "in the EU region" of somewhere else. The company is Finnish, it pays its taxes in Finland, and it answers to Finnish and European law.
Nobody is selling you
Sulle costs €19, once. There are no ads, no profiling and no data to sell, because the business model is the price rather than the person paying it.
Where we are going
Finland first. Then the rest of Europe.
We are launching at home, in Finnish, for people who want their conversations to stay in the country they live in. It is a small market, which is exactly why it is a good place to get this right.
After that we want to take Sulle to the other European countries asking the same question we did — who actually holds our citizens' messages, and under whose law? If that is a question being asked where you are, we would like to hear from you.
